The standard lists

The main screen has eight fixed lists, plus your projects (filtered by area). Each list has a filter field to search within that list only.

Inbox	Capturing new items	Always shows all items, regardless of area
Focus	Most important tasks	Only visible if at least one task has Focus; the area filter applies
Next	Your working stock for today	See Next
Scheduled	Tasks with a scheduled completion date	Groups: overdue, today, next 7 days, rest of month, next 6 months, later
Anytime	Tasks without a date	Default for new tasks in a project
Waiting for	Something is still missing from outside	Can only be filled manually
Someday	Tasks for some day	Can only be filled manually; date and notifications are removed
Completed	Checked-off tasks	Default: last 30 days; a toolbar icon shows all

Due or overdue tasks from “Scheduled” are also shown in “Next”. On the Mac, switch between the lists with ⌘1 to ⌘8.
